HealthData.gov is the federal data navigator site for health data. The site is dedicated to making high value health data more accessible to entrepreneurs, researchers, and policy makers in the hopes of achieving better health outcomes. The site contains data from federal agencies such as CMS, the CDC, and the Substance & Mental Health Services Administration, as well as data from many state agencies.

HealthData.gov includes a developer corner to highlight uses of health data and to discuss how developers can improve access to the HealthData.gov data catalog. It offers an API for direct dataset access in addition to downloads.
