The State LTSS Scorecard measures LTSS system performance across five key dimensions: Affordability and access Choice of setting and provider Quality of life and quality of care Support for family caregivers Effective transitions Within each of these dimensions, the user can view data on a number of different indicators such as “home health and personal care aides per 1,000 population age 65+” and can make comparisons across states. The site also offers a factsheet on each state, displaying data for indicators, rankings, and changes over time. The user can view a map which groups states into quartiles based on a composite score of indicators from all five of the key dimensions. Maps, graphs, and data tables can be embedded onto other sites. Charts can also be downloaded as PowerPoint files and data tables can be downloaded as Excel documents.
